A transnational meditation on travel and the coronavirus. A guidebook and Google Maps. Four vacations in four locations that were pandemically admired worldwide.
As each vacation unfolded, screenshots were snapped and made into postcards. The cards, containing GPS coordinates, were mailed to friends around the world. When (and if) the addressees received their cards, they took a snapshot of it placed in their pandemic world.
The first three vacations were virtual. The final documented a real trip, with Google Maps postcards, written and mailed in Iceland.
