Mardi Gras Day in the Treme neighborhood of New Orleans. Founded in 1909, The Zulu Social Aid & Pleasure Club is New Orleans' largest predominantly Black carnival organization. Within the first year of the pandemic, Zulu lost an estimated 17 members to Covid.
